Questions, answered

Everything people ask before they dive in. Want the deep technical version? It lives in the docs.

Getting started

How do I sign up?+

There's no sign-up form. You connect a Solana wallet and sign a one-time message to prove it's yours — that's your account. No email, no password, nothing to remember or leak.

Do I need to install anything?+

No. Zolea runs entirely in your browser. You just need a Solana wallet extension (like Phantom or Solflare) to sign in.

Is Zolea free?+

Yes. Creating and running communities is free. The only paid surface is optional, on-chain sponsorships — paying SOL from your own wallet to feature your community on the home page or pin your token in Trending.

Which wallets are supported?+

Any standard Solana wallet. Sign-in is a plain message signature over a one-time nonce, so it works with the wallets you already use.

Coins & trading

Is Zolea an exchange or a trading app?+

No. Zolea is a community platform. Coin cards are read-only, informational market data (via DexScreener) with a one-tap link out to pump.fun. We don't mint, swap, route orders, custody assets, or give financial advice — every card carries that disclaimer.

How do live coin cards work?+

Paste a Solana contract address or a pump.fun / DexScreener link in any message. Zolea detects it, fetches live market data, snapshots it, and renders a card with price, market cap, liquidity, 24h volume and a chart — refreshing as you watch.

Where does the market data come from?+

From DexScreener. Data is snapshotted into each message when it's posted, so the card loads instantly for everyone and keeps working even if the upstream API is rate-limited.

What is the buy bot?+

Point it at your token and every on-chain buy streams into your channel as a live alert — size in USD and SOL, holder status, market cap and your own banner. It turns your chat into a live tape of momentum.

Security & privacy

Does Zolea hold my funds or keys?+

Never. You sign in with your wallet and every transaction — sponsorships, donation drives, trades — happens in your own wallet on-chain. Zolea is non-custodial by design: there is no account balance to hold and nothing for us to lose.

What stops bots from flooding a community?+

Every join must solve a server-issued proof-of-work challenge plus a captcha, both re-verified server-side. Solving costs real CPU per attempt, which makes mass automated sign-ups expensive and pointless — while staying invisible to real users.

Are my messages encrypted?+

Yes. Your direct messages and your personal My Space (an encrypted notepad pinned to the top of Messages) are end-to-end encrypted — sealed in your browser with your own key before anything is sent, so the server only ever holds ciphertext. It's fully automatic, WhatsApp-style: keys are generated and synced for you, with no passphrase or recovery codes to manage, and everything unlocks on each device you sign in to.

How is my data protected?+

Every database table enforces row-level security, so members only ever read the rows their role allows. Media is served through short-lived signed URLs, account details are masked by default, and every action is re-validated on the server — the browser is never trusted.

Communities & sponsorships

How do sponsorships work?+

You pay in SOL from your own wallet to feature your community on the home page and pin your token to the top of Trending. It's fully on-chain and non-custodial, and your placement activates the moment the payment clears.

What are the tiers?+

Three exclusive tiers — Bronze, Silver and Gold. Only one sponsor of each tier runs at a time; buyers queue if it's taken. Gold owns the single top spot, takes over the global buy bot, and gets a verified gold ring on its icon.

Can I moderate my community?+

Yes. Assign admins and mods, set roles and permissions, and toggle who can post, share coins, send links or GIFs — plus slow-mode. Every rule is enforced server-side, so it can't be bypassed from the client.

What kinds of communities is Zolea for?+

Anything that cares about tokens: token launches rallying holders, trading groups sharing calls as live cards, NFT projects and DAOs that need roles and encrypted DMs, and creators turning an audience into a community.

Still curious?

The fastest way to understand Zolea is to try it — connect a wallet and look around.
